Buzz: By the way, this list was obtained from Johnson, B. W. "Chronology of Acts and the Epistles," The People's New Testament. Blue Letter Bible. 1 Apr 2002. 16 Oct 2007. http://www.blueletterbible.org

Mike: Thanx for sharing that. I'm going to have to come back and study it more. It's interesting that the stories can be read in hours or days, but when you think about, all of this had to unfold during the entire first Century. People were killed. There were many hardships and dangers. Faith was tried. And through it all, the Holy Spirit guided, Christ's Church was established and the gates of Hell will never prevail against it!

Buzz: Good point Mike, those early believers went through a lot. We have it "easy" here in the United States today - persecution to me means that someone makes fun of me for thinking that the Bible is the Word of God. Back then, persecution meant you lost your life! We should think about our own lives and where we would stand if we were put in the situations of those early believers. Would we stand for Christ?

Comment:

From the Word...

But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

- Romans 5:15
